Mini Session

Let me start this off by saying I LOVE me a mini session. It's just so sweet and simple and a ton of fun. These boys were amazing and mom was spectacular!

I met this family along the trails at the Springs Preserve. I was unsure of what this location was going to offer us and boy was I surprised. I learned that this location offers an adorable hidden trail, I learned that Big Brother was planning to never show me his teeth and that Little Brother knows every word and dance move to the most adorable song. Mom brought along a handmade sign from her own personal business and we were in and out in a little over 30 min.

Twenty Six

Who does a cake smash at 26? This girl! I swear we laughed the entire time and every guy out and about just couldn't keep their eyes off of her!

This was a grand session. Two locations and lots of props. From the balloons and wine, to the cake and gift bags every detail made this session all of that and then some. It look a minute for the birthday girl to get into the swing of being in front of the camera, she was giving me a ton of shy. We put on a little music and she suddenly transformed! She was such a trooper and even shared a cupcake with me when our session time ended. Yay, cupcakes!

Wild One

Oh My Gerrrr! This guy is soooooo adorable! He was giving me straight face the whole time but his cheeks made up for it! So kissable! This session started with a few snaps of this dapper dude. He showed off his duds and his charm and made me beg for a smile or even just a look at the camera. Lol. We worked it out! Mom and Dad then changed him into his casual wear and then it was cake time! He was reluctant, a little iffy about the cake but one taste and it was all over.... his face! Shout out to Mom for that AWESOME home made sign! Sigh, I just love it when a client brings their own personal touch to their shoot.

Sunrise in the desert

This darling family pushed me out of bed for this sunrise shoot and it was more than worth it! It took a while for big brother to get use to this lady with a camera in his face but Mom and sis were more than happy to show him the way. Every shot we took was filled with love and joy and this session was just one big ball of fun! I’ll get up at sunrise for them again any day!

Nelson’s Landing

This little spot is on of my favorites! I find something new every time I venture out to this little gem! These newlyweds scouted me out all the way from California. They were spending their honeymoon here and wanted to take some photos while vacationing. He was so charming. She was so sweet. And the views were breathtaking!

Mommy and Me

This little man gave me a show! He was so picture ready yet so reluctant to show me any teeth. I chased this guy all around the park working to get the best shots of him and mommy. He and his little stuffed animal, George, would just run away laughing at my every failed attempted. I got a workout in and he and mommy got some wonderful portraits to cherish forever!

My First

First shoots are special. You never forever them. They really help you come into your own and truly discover who you are. On this day, this rambunctious 4 year old wanted to do his own thing, and Mom wanted pictures. In that case, you have to embrace it. Let him show who he is, express it all in his photos. In the end, your photos should represent who you are, not what someone wants you to be. He’s curious, and wild, and fun. And it showed!

The J’s

When I tell you this family is #goals, there is not exaggeration! The love that mom and dad expressed to each other was so rich and so deep and so real. Their love showed through in their children and you could just feel the warmth on this chilly day. My favorite shot is when I told dad to whisper something in her ear. I can’t even begin to imagine what he said!

And then there were 6

I’ve sort of watched this family double in size! I first met them during a mini session and they’ve stuck with me ever since! I love how they let me try new techniques and moms always got the best ideas to throw my way. We get so creative with our shoots and always have a tone of fun! Not to mention, little mans dance moves!

Mother

Giving life to another is the most amazing thing i can imagine. We shot this at one of my favorite spots, where it’s got the perfect combination of everything a photo shoot desires. She got to be bare foot and pregnant and take home a memory of this amazing chapter in her life!

Best Friends

These girls talked and giggled and had me chasing them all around to get their most perfect shots! I mean, what little girl doesn’t like a camera in her face!

Bow tie

This guy and his Bow Ties bring me so much joy, I can’t stand it!! We had so much fun doing his cake smash, they decided to book me again for their holiday cards. Back at one of my favorite spots, little man put on a show this time! It’s always fun with this adorable little family!

Nine!

The odds were stacked against us. It was crazy windy, the boys were hyper and there were 9 different faces to convince to look at me and smile! Eek! We made it through! The boys were adorable, grandma was delightful, and little miss woke up right before the sunset. Because of her, we got the most beautiful shot of the orange sky.

Little Miss

Wetlands is one of my favorite areas. It’s so big and there’s always new places to find. This shoot was no different. I know i say it all the time, but this session was a lot of fun! Little miss wanted nothing to do with me, but i bribed her with a little Peppa Pig and brother helped me to get her to crack a smile. The three of them are so cute and so loving and I can’t wait to shoot them again!
